Norton Summit is a small settlement in the Adelaide Hills. The home of Thomas Playford, a cherry orchardist who became the State's longest serving Premier, it was enveloped in low cloud on our visit.
On a side road leading to the local cemetery we found a small book exchange.
The local cemetery, like all such places, offered a variety of graves. Each grave had its own story, even if we had to supply it from our own imagination.
