It’s been a while since I posted a journal entry. In January I mentioned I was out of action with a bad back and was about to have some further tests. Within days I was in hospital. More about that will come out as the year advances. Suffice it to say that I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable but hopefully manageable blood cancer.
I have been having treatment since then, with a lot more to come, and my camera has not seen a lot of use. Today, however, after having spent too long inside with books and weights, I put on my shoes, grabbed my camera and went for one of my shorter walks from home. Here are a few some snaps I took along the way.
