A short visit to Innes National Park, at the bottom of South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula, showed me once again how the human footprint on the landscape is ever present. Whether it is the literal footprint on a path, the infrastructure for tourists, the detritus of former 75or an iconic lighthouse on the point, no landscape seems free from the impact of humans.
