Recently I have been walking through a light industrial area on my way to photographing a completely different project. I couldn't stop myself however from taking images of the factories and warehouses I was passing.
Unlike houses, the decorative elements of these honest, unpretentious buildings are not found in artificial additions but in the very shape, positioning and texture of the facades, the windows, doors and even downpipes. While some buildings are muted in colour, others exhibit a brightness less constrained than found on houses.
